A trip to Snowflake & Tyson's Birthday

On the 16th Of April we drove for 10 1/2 hours to Snowflake Arizona to see Heather & Blake and the kids. The drive down was interesting. Luke threw up after we had the car all packed and ready to go, but we decided we were going anyway. He was sick the whole way down (somehow he managed to keep the puke contained and we didn't get any in the car or on his car seat) and then a couple days after that too. After that he was all systems go. On our way down we stopped at the Glen Canyon Dam, the view was amazing.

It was so nice to see the Larson family and we really appreciate their hospitality even though they are still only half moved. The cousins had so much fun playing together.
Tyson said the caption for this picture should be
"How do you work this thing?"

While we were there we visited The Snowflake Temple

And we also visited WALNUT Canyon which was a Indian Ruin Site.

We also got to celebrate Tyson's 28th Birthday while we were there.
on his birthday I contemplated how grateful I am for him and for what a wonderful
dad and husband he is. But also how much he does for everyone he knows. Tyson is always there
for anyone who asks, and he is always thinking about what he can do for others.
in the 12 years I have known him he has always continued to be an example to me, and I love him so much!

There's more pictures from our trip back home but I'm tired for now.
to be continued.....

Easter Crafty-ness

I found this recipe on Bakerella's blog, Easter Egg Cake Pops.....Never again (I think)
these are VERY sweet, and I sorta suck at making them...But the kids loved them and they look beginner pretty right?

And at my mom's this morning Harlie and Luke helped make these Wash Cloth bunnies..
Super cute and the kids loved making them. Thanks Grandma!

Flashlights ready...Go!

On Tuesday night the Barton's were kind enough to invite us to a Flash light Easter Egg Hunt.
The Kids were psyched!

The Hakala's came too and Grandma Alberta, although she was with the Barton's and they showed up late so they are not in any of our pictures :(
The kids all had so much fun and made out like bandits and in spite of my anxiety they didn't get lost or taken in the dark.

We love Easter!
